Background - What is initiating quality audits?

Quality auditing refers to the systematic, independent, documented review and evaluation of an organization’s quality control system (QMS). It determines whether quality activities or results conform to a strategic arrangement that is effective implemented and appropriate to reach the goals. A quality audit is usually conducted by either an internal or external quality auditor, or an audit team at agreed times. It ensures that an organization has a clearly defined system of quality monitoring. It is an important part of the ISO 9001 standard for quality management.

Audits are vital to ensure maximum benefit for an organization. This is an important tool to:

1. - Determine the conformity and nonconformity between the quality system components with specific requirements
2. - Validate objective evidence
3. - Evidence of the reduction and elimination any problem areas
4. - It is important to make sure that the products are safe for use and comply with regulations.
5. - How to determine if organizations have quality policies that meet standards

Aims and Objectives of this course

This course Initial quality audits (based on BSBAUD511) covers the knowledge and skills needed to start and organize quality audits. This includes communicating with auditors, assessing the objectives and scope of quality inspections, as well as developing and submitting quality assurance plans.

This course is open to those who have a strong knowledge base in quality assurance and are skilled at using a variety quality management and auditing techniques to conduct quality audits. Individuals can also monitor and supervise the activities and results of others in a quality-audit team.

Our Initiate quality audits course is based on the unit of competency of BSBAUD5 11. Whilst this course is not nationally recognised, it follows the learning outcomes and elements associated with that unit. The course contains

2. Online Assessment tasks
3. Ability to download your Certificate of Completion once assessment tasks are completed

Initiate quality audits course is available online and completed in your own time. This identifying risk and apply risk management processes training course is based on the learning outcomes outlined above.

The course is typically designed to be completed in a minimum of four hours. However, the exact length of the course may depend on your ability and prior knowledge around the subject. 

As the training is delivered online, you are able to complete it at your own pace.

What Accreditation Will You Get?

After completing the Initiate quality audits course , an assessment is conducted to determine if you have understood the information presented during the training course. If you pass this assessment, you receive a Certificate of Completion.

IMPORTANT NOTE whilst this course is based on the learning outcomes of the course provided, it is important to note that it is not a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment unless you opt for that option. Nationally Recognised training is only really required If you specifically require that unit of competency for a qualification or licence (typically this will require a practical component, further assessment and increased costs).

This course has been designed to comply with the best practices of national health and safety standards. Terminology has been chosen for clarity and ease of comprehension across jurisdictions. For example, ‘employer’ has been used to signify the broader term ‘PCBU’, while ‘WHS’ represents both work and occupational health and safety.

A Certificate of Completion is issued on successful completion of the course and you are required to get an 80% pass mark to be deemed as understanding the content. It is recommended that training is conducted every 2 years to stay refreshed.
