CPCCLHS3001 Licence to Operate a Personnel and Materials Hoist Training - Salisbury, Brisbane

Welcome to CPCCLHS3001 Licence to operate a personnel and materials hoist training course. This is a High Risk Work Licence (Class HP).

Once competent you can apply for a HP Licence.

This training course specifies the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a personnel and materials hoist, that is, a cantilever or tower hoist or several winches configured to operate as a hoist intended to carry goods, materials or people.

Completion of the general construction induction training program, specified in the Safe Work Australia model Code of Practice: Construction Work, is required by anyone carrying out construction work.

Achievement of CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry meets this requirement.

Competence in this unit does not in itself result in a licence. A licence is obtained after competence is assessed under applicable Commonwealth, state or territory work health and safety (WHS) regulations.

A Candidate Assessment Summary (CAS) is a document that shows the results of an assessment or part of an assessment. Students should keep their CAS as well as the proof of payment for the application for the licence to legally prove they can lawfully perform the work until they receive their HRW licence.
