CPCCLHS3001 Licence to Operate a Personnel and Materials Hoist Training - Ingleburn, Sydney

Welcome to CPCCLHS3001 License to operate a personnel-and-materials hoist training course. This is a High Risk Licence (Class HP).

Once you are competent, you can apply for an HP Licence.

This course outlines the skills and knowledge needed to safely operate a personnel or materials hoist. That is, a cantilever, tower or multiple winches configured as a hoist to carry goods, material or people.

Anyone who performs construction work must complete the general construction induction program specified in the Safe Work Australia Model Code of Practice:

This requirement is met by completing CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.

A licence is not automatically granted for competence in this unit. After assessing competence in accordance with applicable Commonwealth, State or Territory work health and safety regulations (WHS), a licence can be obtained.

  • Reached 18 years of age to sit the SafeWork NSW assessment.

HOW TO APPLY FOR YOUR NEW HIGH RISK LICENCE IN NSW

The application must be submitted within 60 days after the successful completion of the practical assessment.

  • Complete your application for National Licence to Perform High Risk Work which will be given to you by the RTO and their approved SafeWork NSW Assessor
  • You also need your Notice of Satisfactory Assessment (N5 form  again provided to you by the RTO approved assessor). This is the original orange and white copy.
  • Provide list of 100 points of ID
  • A photo (passport quality) with your details written on the back
  • Previous licence if you have it
  • Go to a participating Australia Post office and apply
  • There are fees and charges applicable. See here
