All asbestos removal work also requires licensed asbestos assessors. An asbestos assessor license is necessary for air monitoring and clearance inspections for class A asbestos removal work. Obtaining an asbestos assessor license involves the completion of the CPCCBC5014A (Conduct Asbestos Assessment) course. 

Prerequisites for Enrolling in Asbestos Removal Training Adelaide

The certification processes for asbestos removal certification includes the successful completion of several courses. You must first complete white card training (construction induction training). If you completed your white card training more than two years ago, you may need to enroll in an online refresher course.

If your job duties involve the removal of non-friable asbestos, you must complete the Class B asbestos removal course. The CPCCDE3014A Class B course is also a prerequisite for completing the CPCCDE3015A Class A course. Completing the Class B course meets the legal requirements for removing any amount of non-friable asbestos.

If your job involves the removal of friable asbestos, you need to complete the CPCCDE3015A Class A course. White card training and the two asbestos removal courses are also prerequisites for CPCCBC4051A (Supervise Asbestos Removal) and CPCCBC5014A (Conduct Asbestos Assessment).
