Since its inception, 5th Point has continued to grow and develop, becoming the foremost IRATA International training company in Australia. In 2008, 5th Point began to offer various nationally recognised units of competency in partnership with other Registered Training Organisations (RTOs).

Courses

Height safety systems inspection and certification (Face to face)

Falls from heights remain one of the biggest causes of death, disability and injury in workplaces in Australia. If you work in construction, or on building sites, you are likely to be working at heights at various times. It’s vital for you to be able to identify and control the risk of falls in your workplace.

One way to do this is to take a nationally recognised RIIWHS204E Work Safely Working at Heights course. 5th Point offers this one-day course (approximately 8 hours), to businesses and individuals. Fully certified TAE Trainers with relevant industry experience deliver the course materials, ensuring that a wealth of experience underpins the training that we offer.

Provide First Aid training course (Face to face)

5th Point offers the nationally accredited (HLTAID0011 Provide First Aid) unit of competency that forms the basis for this course, with the rope access and working at height context being a non-endorsed component. Fully certified TAE Trainers with relevant industry experience deliver the course materials, ensuring that a wealth of experience underpins the training that they offer.

This course includes pre-learning materials emailed to you upon registration of the course (Apply First Aid HLTAID011 Training Manual and Training Assessment Workbook). All prior learning tasks MUST be completed online prior to the commencement of the course.

IRATA Rope Access Training course (Face to face)

  • With your choice of ONE of the following accredited course options:
  • Work Safely at Heights course RIIWHS204E, OR
  • Enter and Work in Confined Spaces course RIIWHS202E, OR
  • Provide First Aid HLTAID011.

5th Point offers a five-day training course that covers all the essentials of industrial rope access. The course is broken down into four days of training followed by one day of assessment.
